    Abstract

    Harsono, S830208011, 2009. “The influence of cooperative learning using problem solving and task method based viewed fromstudent creativity”. (the case study of physics learning in earthgravitation lesson on XI IPA class first semester on 2008/2009 in Taruna Nusantara senior high school). Thesis: Science Education Study of Postgraduate program ofSebelas Maret University,Surakarta. This study is aimed to comprehend : 1) is there influence of physics learning with cooperative learning using the problem solving and task method to the physics achievement in based competency of earth gravitation, 2) is thereinfluencehigh, moderate and low creativity to the physic achievement in based competency of eart gravitation, 3) is there interactionbetween problem solving and task method based on student creativity to the physic achievement in based competency of earth gravitation. The research was carried from August 2008 toJanuary 2009. The population is student of XI-IATaruna Nusantara high school on 2008/2009 contain of eight classes equal to 122 student. The sample collected by matched test star on XI-IA-1 until XI-IA-8. The independent variables are learning approach(learning approach with problem solving and task methods). The attribute variable is student’s creativity. The dependent variable is physicsachievement in cognitive and affective fields. The cognitive data collected used the test method after the lesson in based competency of earth gravitation. Affective fields get from observation student behavior which joints in class and creativity data’s get from questioners. The data analysis used by analysis of variant (Anava). The result suggest 1) there are difference on influence of cooperative lesson that use the problem solving method and task method to the physics achievement in based competency of earth gravitation which have level of significance equal to 0,05 (p = 0,085).2) there’s no difference of influence on the level creativity each high, moderate and low to the physics achievement. Thus statement based on the Anderson –Darling normality test, where the p value of each variable more than level of significance (p > 0,05), both problem solving or task methods for the each creativity. 3) there’s no interaction between problem solving method and task method based on student creativity to the physics achievement in based competency of earth gravitation in level of significance 0,05.
