    Abstract

The Relationship between The Interest of Studying Physics and The Condition of Environment Student’s Learning with The Studying Physics Achievement of The Third Grade State Junior High School Students at Sub-District Kesesi of Pekalongan Regency in education year of 2007/2008. Thesis. The Study Program of Population and Environmental Education. Post Graduate Program, Sebelas Maret University, July 2008. The aims of research are to find out: (1) the relationship between the interest of studying physics and achievement of state junior high school student at sub district of Kesesi, (2) the relationship between the condition of environment Student’s Learning and studying physics achievement of state junior high school at sub district of Kesesi, (3) the relationship between the interest of studying physics and the condition of environment student’s learning altogether, and the study achievement of state junior high school at sub district of Kesesi. According to the aims, this research used descriptive methods with correlation approach. The populations of research were all of third year of State Junior High School students who studied in sub district of Kesesi. The samples were taken using combined sampling, for this case ith cluster proportional random sampling. The technique of data collection used achievement test method for the studying physic achievement, questionnaire method is for the interest of studying physic and the condition of environment student’s learning, graduated interview method for confirming the data. Documentation method for complement and observation method for data observation and data recording of the object which is observed. The technique of data analysis requirement were using normally test, lienarity test, constant variance test, independent test before regression and correlation analysis based on the regression analysis result, it was found out the contribution of independent variables to the dependent variable. According to the result of the research it can be concluded: (1) there was a significant and positive relation between the interest of studying physic with the study physic achievement of state junior high school students at Sub- District of Kesesi (r0 = 0,51 > rtable = 0,220 of at significance level 5%) so, the proof of the hypothesis can be examined, (2) there was positive and significant relation between the condition of environment student’s learning with studying physic achievement of State Junior High School at sub district of Kesesi (r0 = 0,44 > rtable = 0,220 at significance level 5%), so the proof of the hypothesis can be examined, (3) there was also positive and the condition of environment student’s learning altogether with the studying physic achievement (ry12 is 0,608 with Fcalculation = 22,45 > Ftable = 3,11 at significance level 5%) so it can be examined. Relative Contribution (RC%) of the interest of studying physic variable was 68,18% and 39,82% for the condition of environment student’s learning variable, and the Effective Contribution (EC%) for the interest of studying physic was 22,21% and 14,47% for the condition of environment student’s learning. The model of the relation between X1 and X2 with Y was Y = -16,672 + 0,229 X1 + 2,178X2, this model is significantly statistic.
