    Abstract

    The aims of this research are find out: (1) whether there is a difference of effect of the audio visual learning media use the projector learning media use on the learning achievement in the Citizenship Education subject matter of the students in Grade VI of Primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, Karanganyar regency; (2) whether there is a difference of effect of the high learning achievement motivation and low learning achievement motivation on the learning achievement in the Citizenship Education subject matter of the students in Grade VI of Primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, Karanganyar regency; and (3) whether there is an interaction of effect of the learning media use and the learning achievement motivation towards the learning achievement in the Citizenship Education subject matter of students in Grade VI of Primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, karanganyar regency. This research was conducted at Class VI of primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, karanganyar regency. Its population was all of the 1.678 student of 8 Primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, karanganyar regency. The suples of the research were the students in Grade VI taken by using a cluster random sampling technique from three defferent schools, namely: State Primary School 01 as an experimental school where validity and reliability were tested and state Primary School 02 of Ploso and State Primary School 02 of Kadipiro as control school and as a comparison school respectively. The data of the research were analyzed by means of a two-way analysis of variance, a homogeneity test, and a normality test. The results of the research are as follows. 1) There is a difference of effect of the audio visual learning media use and the projector learning media use on the learning achievement in the Citizenship Education subject matter of students in Grade VI of Primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, karanganyar regency. The proposed hypothesis is verified. This verification proves that the Citizenship Education subject matter learning with the audio visual learning media use has a different learning achievement compared to the projector learning media use. Such a defference is due to the fact that the application of the audio visual learning media involves more senses than the projector learning media use does. The former involves learning and vision where as the latter involves vision only. 2) There is a defference of effect of the high achievement motivation and the low achievement motivation on the learning achievement in the Citizenship Education subject matter of the student in Grade Vi of Primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, Karanganyar regency. The proposed hypothesis is verified. This verification indicates that the students with the high learning achievement motivation tend to have a higher learning achievement in the Citizenship Education subject matter. 3) there is an interaction of effect of the learning media use and the achievement motivation towards the learning achievement in the Citizenship Education subject matter of the students in Grade VI of Primary Schools of Dabin IV, Jumapolo sub-district, Karanganyra regency. The proposed hypothesis is verified. This verification confirms that the learning media use appropriate with the learning materia’s and the students’ high learning achievement motivation make the students’s learning achievement high, where as the learning media use inappropriate with the learning materials and the students’ low learning achievement motivation make the students’ learning achievement low.
