    Abstract

    The cultivation of oyster mushroom (Pleorotus ostreatus) is not many ex panded yet in Indonesia, either the exertion chance or the consumtion fulfillment of society. The objective research is to know the production degree of oyster mushroom on the basic media of saw dust were mixed with some compositions of corn flour and bran d. The research was arranged on complete ly random design with treatments mixture of sawdust from albasia wood with corn flour ( 10%,20%,30% ) and brand ( 10%, 15% (control), 20%,30% ). Oyster mushroom production were observed in three times of picking ( 60, 75 and 90 day after plants ). The data were analy zed by of Varia n Analysis ( ANAVA ) and continued with Duncant Multi ple Range Test ( DMRT ) on 5% lev el . Result showed that corn flour and brand were effective ad mixture to enhance oyster mushroom production. The optimal production is found in the mixture of brand media with concentration 30% , while for corn media with concentration 20%. Key word : Pleo rotus ostreatus , saw dust , corn and brand
