    Abstract

    to create by the development era. Folklore has become one of the basic competition (KD) in the KTSP to provide insight into the history trail in oral history (folklore, mythology, fairy tales and legends). Formulation of this research is (1) how the suitable of learning about folk tales with KTSP, (2) how the relevance to learning history, and (3) why the method chosen of assignment folklore of teachers in learning history. The purpose of this study was to determine learning about folklore in accordance KTSP, find out how teachers use folklore as source of learning history, and three find out why the method chosen for the task of introducing trace in the tradition of oral history. The research carried out in high school Pangudi Luhur Giriwoyo, Wonogiri district. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data sources include (1) informants or sources originating from the deputy head of the school curriculum areas, teachers of history and 10th-grade students Pangudi Luhur Giriwoyo High School, (2) Process of learning and teaching, teaching and learning activities, and (3) documents and file such as VCD, history books ad other supporting books. Techniques collection data used interviews, direct observation and content analysis. Validity of research data using triangulation techniques and data source triangulation method. While the analytical techniques used interactive analysis with three components, namely data display and conclusion (verificasion). The result of the research explains that folklore be part of the learning in the curriculum of KTSP in particular of the subjects of history. There are four materials about folklore stories which are given in six sessions in the classroom (6 x 45 seconds). Learning relevation of folklore with learning of history to be seing in history treasures of oral tradition in Giriwoyo. The method steps of the task, successfully documented the widespread folklore as oral history traditions that still exist in the area around Giriwoyo-Wonogiri in the form of report learners. Conclusions of the research that the suitability of learning folklore with KTSP. These are get relevation of folklore with learning history. Teacher to applied the method for documentationed of folklore learnes themselves.
