    Abstract

    Purpose of this research is to find out 1) the effect of STAD and TGT model concerning chemistry learning achievement, 2) the effect of student self confident attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, 3) the effect of student social attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, 4) interaction about model of learning and self confident attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, 5) interaction about model of learning and social attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, 6) interaction about self confident and social attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, 7) interaction among model of learning , self confident and social attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement. This research was held in January 2009-September 2009. The method that is used in this research is experiment method. The research population is all students of grade X SMA 1 Semin academic year 2008/2009. Sample of research is 2 classes which is taken at random. The class that used STAD model was class X.3 and the other that used TGT was class X.1. Technique of collecting variable data for cognitive learning achievement is test method whereas self confident and social attitude using questionnaire method. Test of research hypothesis that uses anava 3 cell way is not the same with the help of software Minitab 15 Research analysis results are 1) there is no different effect of using STAD method and TGT concerning chemistry learning achievement, p-value = 0,189 > 0,050 2) there is effect of self confident attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, p-value = 0,00 < 0,050 3) there is no effect of student social attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, p- value = 0,702 > 0,050 4) there is no interaction about model of learning and self confident attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, p-value = 0,825 > 0,050 5) there is no interaction about model of learning and social attitude concerning learning achievement, pvalue = 0,331 > 0,050 6) there is no interaction self confident and social attitude concerning learning achievement, p-value = 0,739 > 0,050 7) there is no interaction among model of learning, self confident attitude, and social attitude concerning chemistry learning achievement, p-value = 0,163 > 0,050.
