    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Kiki Nirmawati, G0007093, 2010. Efek Ekstrak Daun Ceremai (Phylanthus acidus [L] Skeels ) terhadap Kematian Larva Anopheles aconitus In vitro, Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya efek ekstrak daun ceremai (Phylanthus acidus [L] Skeels) terhadap tingkat kematian larva Anopheles aconitus In vitro dan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi mematikan 50% dan 99% larva. Metode : Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratorium menggunakan rancangan post test only with control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah larva Anopheles aconitus instar III yang diperoleh dari Balai Penelitian Vektor dan Reservoir Penyakit (BPVRP) Salatiga. Sampel terbagi dalam 6 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kontrol positif (abate), kontrol negatif, dan kelompok perlakuan dalam larutan ekstrak daun ceremai dalam empat konsentrasi, yaitu 0,45%; 0,60%; 0,75%; dan 0,90%. Pengamatan dilakukan setelah 24 jam perlakuan dan dicatat jumlah larva yang mati. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan regresi linier menggunakan program SPSS 16. Hasil : Nilai R square model sebesar 0,994 menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi ekstrak merupakan variabel yang sangat baik untuk menjelaskan variabel kematian larva. Dengan uji anova pada analisis regresi didapatkan Fhitung > Ftabel dengan taraf signifikansi 0,00, maka H0 ditolak, atau dengan kata lain terdapat efek larvasida pada ekstrak daun ceremai terhadap larva Anopheles aconitus in vitro. Taraf signifikansi < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa variabel konsentrasi ekstrak daun ceremai dalam penelitian memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap jumlah kematian larva. Hasil analisis probit didapatkan LC50 pada konsentrasi 0,505% dan LC99 pada konsentrasi 1,23%. Simpulan : Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun ceremai (Phylanthus acidus [L] Skeels ) memiliki efek larvasida terhadap larva Anopheles aconitus In vitro. Hasil analisis probit didapatkan LC50 didapatkan pada konsentrasi 0,505% dan LC99 diperoleh pada konsentrasi 1,23%. Kata kunci: larvasida, Anopheles aconitus, ekstrak daun ceremai. Effect of Otaheite Gooseberry Leaf Extract (Philanthus acidus [L] Skeels) to Mortality of Anopheles aconitus Larvae In vitro, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. Objectives : The goals of research were to know the effect of Otaheite Gooseberry leaf extract to mortality of Anopheles aconitus Larvae in vitro and to know value of lethal concentration 50% and 99%. Method : The study was laboratory experimental with the post only controlled group designed. The subject of the research was Anopheles aconitus Larvae third instar, which was obtained from Balai Penelitian Vektor dan reservoir Penyakit (BPVRP) Salatiga. The sample was devide into six groups : negative control group which was placed in the well water, positive control which placed in abate (0,01%), and experimental group which was placed in four concentration of Gooseberry Leaf Extract solution 0,45%; 0,60%; 0,75%; and 0,90%. Each group contained 25 larvae, and the number of repetition was 4 times. The result were analyzed by linear regression analysis using SPSS 16. Result: The R square model is 0,994, show that the extract concentration is a very good variable for explaining the mortality variable. Fhitung > Ftabel has been obtained by the Anova test in regression model with 0,00 significancy, which means H0 rejected, or the other words it show that the effect of Otaheite Gooseberry extract for Anopheles aconitus Larvae in vitro was present. The probit analysis obtained LC50 show at concentration 0,505% or 5050 ppm. LC99 show at concentration 1,23% or 12300 ppm. Conclusion: This study show that Otaheite Gooseberry leaf has the larvacidal effect for Anopheles aconitus Larvae in vitro with LC50 5050 ppm and LC99 12300 ppm.
