    Abstract

    The purpose of this study is to determine the status of contract workers that can be transformed into permanent workers associated with contract workers Rights and Labor Agreements on Bank Rakyat Indonesia branch Karangayar and whether it complies or not with the current legislation such as Undang-Undang No. 13 Year 2003 concerning Manpower. This study is a descriptive - empirical research that uses qualitative research methods in which the research is concerned with reality; data was obtained fromprimary and secondary data. The primary data was obtained from Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Karanganyar and the secondary data was obtained from the data obtained from literature materials, documents, and reports related to the problem being investigated.There are three techniques in collecting the data used in this research: interview, questionnaires and literature study. Furthermore, the author uses qualitative analysis with an interactive model to analyze the data. Based on the results of the research,the writer, it can be concluded that the status of contracted workers at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Karanganyar can turn into permanent workers by taking the Job Opening Test with the requirements of having been working there at least in a period of 2 (two) years and only applies to contracted workers at the front liner, ADK and FO. Regarding the rights of contracted workers who are in employment agreements between contracted workers with providers of work services are met in accordance with laws and regulations which is stated in Undang-Undang No. 13 year 2003 concerning Manpower. Specific time work agreement was made by contracted workers with the company's workers provider; there is nothing to do with Bank Rakyat Indonesia. Working relationships arise between contracted workers with service provider company workers, a specific time work agreement which has made already meet the requirements of the Act No. 13 of 2003 on Labor that contains the identity of both parties, the type and scope of work, the term of the agreement, the rights and obligations of both parties, employment termination, violations and sanctions when there is disagreement.
