    Abstract

    This study aimed to describe the (1) The process of devolution of local history through the history of formal learning on high school students in Kudus Kulon; (2) The process of devolution of local history through informal channels of learning history in high school students in Kudus Kulon; (3) Continuity between the educational history of formal and informal channels in the process of devolution of local historical value to students of high school in Kudus Kulon. This study uses qualitative methods with case studies stuck (embedded research). Research conducted in the community environment Kudus Kulon and High Schools in Kudus. The data sources consisted of informants (history teachers, students, and parents), documents (syllabus, RPP, the task of students), and places and events (schools and community environment). Data collection techniques using the technique of in-depth interviews, observation, and content analysis. Data validation using triangulation of data and triangulation method. Analysis of data using an interactive analysis with the three stages of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion that interact with the data collection cycle. The results showed that: (1) Teacher was implement inheritance of value through formally hostorical learning, but the result shows it not optimally yet, because time allocation problem; (2) Inheritance of value in the history of informal learning occurs through folklore which is told in the family and society as a religious ritual events, (3) Continuity learning the history of formal and informal channels occurs because the relationship is mutually reinforcing that makes the efforts of inheritance so the maximum value of local history.
