    Abstract

    The purposes of this research are to know (1) the effect Science Technology and Society of learning through laboratory observation and field observation method toward student learning achievement, (2) the effect of the students scientific attitude of the high and low categories (3) the effect of the positive and negative student self concept (4) interaction between students scientific attitude and student self concept toward student learning achievement (5) interaction between Science Technology and Society of learning through (laboratory and field observation method) and students scientific attitude,(6) interaction between Science Technology and Society of learning through laboratory observation and field observation method and student self concept, (7) Interaction between Science Technology and Society of learning using lab and field observation method and (scientific attitude and student self concept). This research uses experiment with factorial design 2x2x2, the population is all students of 12 th year of SMAN 2 Yogyakarta. The sample is randomly taken from two classes of all. The experiment class group consist of 40 students. The data of scientific attitude and student self concept is collected from question are student learning achievement data is from the cognitive competence test. The instrument validity of scientific attitude , self concept and student learning achievement is tested using deferral corral correlation coefficient formula. The data of learning achievement are analized using anava of three an equal cell frequency with minitab 15. The result of research :(1) there is an effect on Science Technology and Society of learning through lab and field observation method toward student learning achievement, P-value = 0,039. (2) there is an effect of the students scientific attitude of the high and low categories toward student learning achievement, P-value = 0,000 (3) there is an effect on the positive and negative student self concept toward student learning achievement, self concept P-value = 0,021 (4) There is no interaction between scientific attitude and student self concept toward learning achievement, P-value =0,358, (5) There is no interaction between Science Technology and Society of learning through laboratory and field observation method and scientific attitude toward student learning achievement, interaction P-value 0.273). (6) there is no interaction between Science Technology and Society of learning through lab and field observation method and student self concept toward learning achievement, P- value = 0.133 7) there is no interaction between Science Technology and Society of learning using (lab and field observation method) and scientific attitude and student self concept toward student learning achievement. P-value 0.981 Based on the post anava advanced test. There is an insignificant effect among method, scientific attitude and self concept toward student learning achievement.
