    Abstract

Agriculture Faculty of Sebelas Marert University Surakarta. Under guidance Dr. Sapja Anantanyu, SP, MSI and D. Padmaningrum, SP, MSi. Indonesia is a country with an abundant diversity of ecosystems, one of which is the forest that can provide benefits to people's lives. So that needs to be done for forestry development that can benefit the rural community as the main perpetrators of forestry development that actually has local knowledge to maintain and conserve forests. Nature is utilized by the government to manage the forest with the community together. To keep the forests preservation is also to improve people's welfare in the form of participation is more popular with the word "social forestry", where one form is the agroforestry activity. Similarly, conducted in the of Bromo Forest area Karanganyar District. All of these agroforestry activities require evaluation to determine how far these activities have been conducted. The aim of this researchs are to inspect the information accessibility level, involvement (participation) level and the participant agroforestry capacity of local organizations level, inspect the usefulness of economic, social and ecological agroforestry participant perceived, as well as analyzing impact point existing. The method of this research is descriptive method based on objective and based on the usefulness evaluation method with survey techniques. The location of this reaserch is determined intentional (purposive), the determination of the respondents was done by using snowball sampling and convenience sampling. Frequency distribution used to find out how far the activities have been conducted, to draw conclusions use the median score, to measure the usefulness level used the score distribution, and to analyze the real fact used the potential and actual data comparison. Results showed that 90,00% respondents included in the productive age category 15-54 years of age with male gender. 45,00% formal education of respondent taken by the namely complete primary school or equivalent. 87,50% respondents work remains as farmers and all respondents are Bromo Forest farmers. Experience the majority of respondents manage agroforestry more less than 8 years old as much as 60,00%. Accessibility level is the highest participant to Perhutani followed to fellow participants, LMDH, and extension. All of 40 respondents (100,00%) involvement on land preparation activities, seeds and seedlings preparation, main crops planting, and the principal crops maintenance. The involvement of participants level in the activity determination of the location are 38 respondents (95,00%), forest patrols 5 respondents (12,50%), main crop harvest 4 respondents (10,00%), and evaluation of 0.00%. The local organizational capacity to participants level is never done. Agroforestry benefits Level from the economic, ecological and social issues as very good is as much as 13 respondents, who belong to both 21 and of the fairly 6 respondents. Problem that was appears from the real fact analyze are activities of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and institutional.
