    Abstract

    This research have been made for loss aversion and illusion of control influence to portfolio investment decicion making and gender differences and level of education influence to loss aversion and illusion of control testing In this research using loss aversion bias dan illusion of control bias Variable. This research is an experiment research. Experiment design in trhis research is within subject. Data taken with a purposive sampling technique. The criteria are students who have taken courses in Financial Management. Data collection techniques performed by the method of laboratory experiments. Participants who followed this experiment as many as 52 people consisting of 27 participants are male and 25 female participants, as seen from the category level of his education, participants who are students of financial concentration of 28 people and participants of non-financial concentration of 24 people. All the participants were students S-1 Program Management Eleven University of Surakarta, who in March was taking courses in Financial Management. Hypothesis testing using descriptive statistics, binomial test and nonparametric test of difference Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that the investment behavior of individuals affected by loss aversion bias and illusion of control bias. Tests of gender differences in psychological phenomena mann Whitney test showed that there are significant differences between men and women, at the level of illusion of control. While at the level of loss aversion, gender differences are not significant impact. In testing the level of education of psychological phenomena with mann Whitney test showed that the level of education significantly affect the level of loss aversion and the level of illusion of control.
