    Abstract

    Yusuf Alam Romadhon, 2011, S 520 908 013. The difference of nutritional and developmental status between children before five year from complete and divorce parent. Globally, there are growing number children lived with divorce parent. In US more than 1 milion children experience divorce of their parents. In Indonesia, no available data about number of children lived with divorce parent, the divorce rate increase 10 time in recent decade. Until recent, restricted study that explore the difference of nutritional and developmental status between children before five year from complete and divorce parent. Study design is analytic using comparative study approach. The study was conducted in Kartasura, Sukoharjo, Central Java, between January and February 2011. The population study is children under five year that regristered as member of comprehensive care station (posyandu) in Center of Community Health Care (Puskesmas) Kartasura district, 10.165 children (N) distribute in tweleve villages. 58 children included as sample (n) in this study, comprise 29 children from divorce parent group and 29 children from complete parent group. The statistical significant difference variables were analyzed by use of Mann Whitney for parent income variable (non parametric) and use of t test for weight status (weight-for- age), height status (height-for-age), general development status, social personal developmental status, fine motoric developemental status, language developental status, gross motoric developmental status. All analysis employing SPSS version 16 software. Results of the study show, there are significant difference in nutritional status (weight-for-age) [p = 0,014], general developmental status [p = 0,011], social personal developmental status [p = 0,007], fine motoric developmental status [p = 0,044], language developmental status [p = 0,016], and family income compare with regional minimum salary [p = 0,001].
