    Abstract

    The increase of horticulture product, especially cabbage ca not give us any meaning if that product can not received by consumens. The crops delivery from farmers until lest consument will make a market linkage. The location of cabbage farmers that so far from consumens can not give them a chance to make a direct transaction. This condition will make market institution that take a part on distribution procces grewn up and at last give influences to marketing margin. According to Handayani and Minar (2000) according to Hastuti (2005), the price difference also determined by the market integrated level. The integrated level shows that the price in local market follows the price in reference market. The aim of this research is to know the cabbage market integrated in short- term between Cepogo Market of Boyolai Regency and Legi Market of Surakarta City. The research method are analytical descriptive method. The choice of location is done purposively, they are Cepogo Market as the producer market and Legi Market as the consumens market. The data used in this research is secondary data ; i.e the data of cabbage price as long as 36 months from January 2006 to December 2008. The result of this research shows that the cabbage market integrated in short-term between Cepogo Market in Boyolali regency and Legi Market of Surakarta City is low. It can be showed by IMC value which is more than 1; i.e 1,2. It means that the price change which formed in purpose market (Legi Market) less transmitted to local market (Cepogo Market). The price determined by the difference price in Legi Market itself in a month and the month before. The factors expected that determine the low of cabbage market integrated in short- range between Cepogo Market and Legi Market are the uncompletely market information and the long distance location between producers and consumens. From this research, it can be suggested to the farmer in Boyolali Regency, they have to more active to get price information from consument market i.e Legi Market on Surakarta City.
