    Abstract

    The growth processes of carbon nanotubes (CNT) by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) over Fe/Co catalys are investigated in this paper. The product was evaluated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The influence of time reaction was also studied. Carbon nanotubes are formed at 900 0 C after 20, 30, and 40 min. From the TEM results it is established that the growth of carbon nanotube follows a based growth mechanism. Keywords : Carbon nanotube, Chemical Vapor Deposition, Growth mechanism.
