    Abstract

    The aims of the research are to know : (1) the effect differences of using guided inquiry learning model with audio visual media completed by LKS and pictorial module media completed by LKS, (2) the effect differences between student having higher prior knowledge and student having lower prior knowledge, (3) the effect differences between student having higher learning activity and student having lower learning activity, (4) the effect interaction of using guided inquiry learning model with audio visual media completed by LKS, pictorial module media completed by LKS, and prior knowledge, (5) the effect interactions of using guided inquiry learning model with audio visual media completed by LKS, pictorial module media completed by LKS, and learning activity, (6) the effect interactions between prior knowledge and learning activity, (7) the effect interactions of using guided inquiry model with audio visual media completed by LKS, pictorial module media completed by LKS, prior knowledge, and learning activity, to physics learning achievement for solar system topics. The research was conducted from May 2007 to June 2007, using true eksperimen method. The population is all of students in grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Nogosari in 2006 / 2007. The sample is four classes and taken randomly. VII A and VII B are for first experiment , while VII C and VII D are for second experiment. The data was collected using test, documentation, questionare, and observation method. The data was analyzed with three way analysis of variance in different cell, continued with Scheffe method. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that : (1) there was effect differences of using guided inquiry learning model with audio visual media completed by LKS and pictorial module media completed by LKS, (2) there was effect differences between student having higher prior knowledge and student having lower prior knowledge, (3) ) there was effect differences between student having higher learning activity and student having lower learning activity, (4) there wasn’t any effect interactions of using guided inquiry learning model with audio visual media completed by LKS, pictorial module media completed by LKS, and prior knowledge, (5) there was effect interactions of using guided inquiry learning model with audio visual media completed by LKS, pictorial module media completed by LKS, and learning activity, (6) there was effect interactions between prior knowledge and learning activity, (7) there was effect interactions of using guided inquiry learning model with audio visual media completed by LKS, pictorial module media completed by LKS, prior knowledge, and learning activity, to physics learning achievement for solar system topics.
