    Abstract

    The aim of the research was to study the level grafting product, to examine the best of planting medium, to examine BAP concentration of the right so that able to drive on the growth of shoots grafting of dragon fruit and to know the interaction effect of planting medium to BAP concentration. The research used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consist of two treatments factor, i.e. planting medium and BAP concentration. The first factor : planting medium sand of plus soil of plus charcoal chaff (M1), sand of plus soil of plus goat manure (M2) and sand of plus charcoal chaff of plus goat manure (M3) by the composition of the planting medium 1 : 1 : 1. The second factor : BAP concentration consist of 0 ppm (A0), 10 ppm (A1), 20 ppm (A2) and 30 ppm (A3). Each combination treatment was repeated for three times resultly twelve combination treatment. The data analysis based on F test, Kruskal-Wallis test, DMRT 5%, Mood Median test and Regression test. This research was conducted in the green house of Agriculture Faculty of Sebelas Maret University on August to November 2007. The result of this research showed that living percentage grafting of dragon fruit reach 99 % by thirteen of weeks after they were planted time. The best of planting medium on grafting growth of dragon fruit is sand of plus charcoal chaff of plus goat manure by observation based on, the shooting shoots time is the fastest by 36,71 days after they were planted, the length of shoots is the longest by 39,27 centi meter, the sum of shoots is the most by 1,76 pieces, the fresh weigth of plant is the highest by 138,07 g and the dry weigth of plant is the highest by 50,82 g. The best of treatments BAP concentration at 30 ppm to drive on the growth of shoots grafting of dragon fruit by 39 days after they were planted and to examine at the length of shoot reach 35,31 centi meter. The best interaction is combined planting medium sand of plus charcoal chaff of plus goat manure and BAP concentration at 30 ppm by the length of shoots on grafting of dragon fruit is 49,76 centi meter.
