    Abstract

    The purpose of this research are to examine and analyze the effect of computer self efficacy to TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) which are consist of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward using, and intention to use. It is moderated by gender, age, education, and also experience. The main purpose is to find out the effect of someone’s ability in order to using computer to internet technology adoption to support the business in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. All of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in Surakarta which are use the internet to support their business are the population in this research. Amount of the samples are 240. Sampling technique which is used is purposive sampling. Validity and reliability test held to make sure if the data fulfill qualification in hypothesis testing. Data analysis which is used is SEM (Structural Equation Models). The result shows that computer self efficacy, partially, has a significant an positive effect to technology adoption (TAM) by perceived usefulness, attitude toward using, and intention to use variables. Whereas, computer self efficacy hasn’t an effect to perceived ease of use and attitude toward using. But, separately, perceived ease of use has an effect to perceived usefulness. Moderation, consist of gender, age, education, and also experience hasn’t an effect to technology adoption by perceived ease of use. But, it makes strong the relationship between computer self efficacy and perceived usefulness. In the different situation and condition, the result of the research may be different. So, it needs further and wider study until the model could be valid in many context. Then, we expect that this research is able to be reference for others to develop all of the exist potency to progress academy and also Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in practice sector.
