    Abstract

    This study aims to determine how the role of early childhood educators in facilitating the Rainbow Rays socializing children, and to know how the results of early childhood socialization protégé of the Rainbow Rays at Semanggi Subdistrict, Pasar Kliwon District Of Surakarta City. This research is a qualitative exploratory type. The approach used in this study is the approach of Max Weber and Peter L. Berger about the theory of action (action theory). In this study, samples taken as many as 8 (eight) members with details as follows: 2 (two) early childhood educators Sinar Pelangi, 2 (two) parents, 1 (one) neighbors of students, 2 (two) of elementary school teachers, and I (one) of the volunteer. The collecting data through in-depth interviews, interview guidelines, direct observation and documentation. While sampling using maximum variation sampling and purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is an analysis that includes an interactive data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results have shown that the role of educators in facilitating the child is socializing role as teacher educators, educators as caregivers, educators as parents, educators as mediators and educators as a friend to play. The role of the waistband by early childhood educators is to put yourself into someone who is needed by the students. This is to reduce the difference in status between the educators with their students. This means that when a child needs friends to play, a parent or another, educators try to be someone in need by the students. Institutions such as early childhood education is a socialization agent of children. This can be seen from the results obtained by the child after learning in early childhood that children have a provision to continue the high more education, children are able to show the courage they had, the child begins to get used to self, children are able to interact and accept the people around him, and the child can practice for the discipline of time.
