    Abstract

    Nikodimos Dwi Setyono, NIM: I 1306506. DESIGN OF EMPING MAIZE MACHINE WITH SYSTEM OF REGULATOR ROLL Thesis. Surakarta: Industrial Engineering Department of Engineering Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, January 2009. Growth of machine technology which progressively facilitate human being to do something becoming easier and quickly, pushing middle small industry world of worker of maize emping to develop the effort home property of Mr. Nur Imam address in Kartosuso which producing maize emping by using maize emping machine still has insuffiency. Production process constructively machine can quicken human being performance in conducting activity. This matter give idea to improve;repair jobsystem to get perfection of production system. One of the alternative which must be done improve used machine or appliance before all. This scheme will design again maize emping machine which have used motor for the crust of flat roll but the process inclusion of maize seed of still use human. Machine maize emping with system of regulator roll good for assisting to arrange entry of maize seed of to previous flat use human. This scheme ofmechanical system of maize emping machine of source of the rotation of is from motor gear which was belt crust and of pully. Exploited motor gear of rotation hence can move regulator roll which later function to take maize seed of receptacle. Constant motor rotation which is movement of regulator roll can work to take maize seed by continued., so that give amenity in course of flat of maize seed. Pursuant to scheme analysis with system of regulator roll give amenity in course of activity and can produce maize emping till 121 kg/hour which is before only 48 kg/hour.
