    Abstract

    Effort improvement of livestock origin product which is lamb meat that able to be developed. One of the way is exploiting organic waste as feed for the lamb to depress production cost. Using waste as livestock feed giving more advantages by using uselles matter will be yielded product which is lamb meat production. Waste consumption as feed in ranch is difficult to control source and nutrient contents. processed organic waste become flour, will got homogeneous matter of feed from various variation characteristic of organic waste. Using organic waste flour as feed hopefully can maintain quality and consumption and also digesting feed. The aim of this research is to know The Effect Of Substitution Concentrate With Organic Waste Flour In The Diet to Dry Matter Digesting And Organic Matter to Male Local Lamb. Research has been done on Jatikuwung Farm Agriculture Faculty of Sebelas Maret University from june until augusts 2007. The research consist of 12 male local lamb with 11,14 ± 0,97 kg of body wight average which their age less than one year; ration consist of native grass, bc 132 concentrates, and organic waste flour (OWF). Date was analyzed by the analysis of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which it was devided into four treatments and each treatment consist of three replications and each replication using one male local lamb. The treatment has been given consist of P0 as a control by subtitution of concentrate with 0 % OWF , P1 by 12,5 % OWF P2 by 25% OWF, and P3 by 37,5% OWF The variable in this research consist of dry matter intake, organic matter intake, dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility, nutritive value index male local lamb xiii Based on this research, get the result P0, P1, P2, and P3 the of dry matter intake (kg/head/day) were 598,78; 500,99; 497,86 and 395,81, organic matter intake (kg/head/day) were 497,39; 410,60; 407,95; and 325,56, dry matter digestibility (%) were 62,48; 60,29; 60,65; and 59,29, and also organic matter digestibility (%) were 63,10; 60,27; 59,99; and 59,11. nutritive value index (NVI) dry matter (kg/head/day) were 373,32; 302,90; 301,58 and 233,75, nutritive value index (NVI) organic matter (kg/head/day) were 313,92; 248,44; 244,31 and 191,65. Concentrate subtitution with organic waste flour (OWF) until level 37,5 % really degrading dry matter and organic matter consumption, also give some effect to the NVI dry matter and the organic matter, but do not influence to dry matter and the organic matter digesting at male local lamb.
