    Abstract

    The purposes of this research are to find out: (1) Whether there is significanteffect difference between cooperative and conventional learning model toward learning achievement in Math, (2) Whether there is significant effect differencebetween student with high creativity and student with low creativity in their Math learning achievement, (3) Whether there is significanteffect interaction between learning approach and student’s creativity in Math learning achievement. This research uses experiment method. Population in this research is all fifth grader students of State Elementary School in Girimarto Subdistrict, Wonogiri, academic year 2008/2009. The research sample are 60 students selected with cluster random sampling technique. Data collected with test method for variable of student’s learning creativity and to find out their Math learning achievement. Data is analyzed with twoways variance analysis. Based on result of the research, it can be conclude that: (1) There is significant effect difference between application of cooperative and conventional learning model toward learning achievement in Math (Fcount > Ftable or 9,240 > 4,02); (2) There is significant effect difference between student with high creativity and student with low creativity toward learning achievement in Math (Fcount > Ftable or 18,90 > 4,02); and (3) There is significant effect interaction between learning approach and student’s creativity in Math learning achievement (Fcount > Ftable or 5,75 > 4,02). Based on this result of the research, teachers are expected to fully understand what the strategy whichapllicated, because it will affect the purpose of the learning. In addition, teachers are expected to be professional and creative in managing their class so that the learning purpose can be achieved. Teacher always motivate their students to be creative and give them problems related to the lesson, so it will motivate and train the students to always thinking creative in solve the problem given.
