    Abstract

    This study aimed to analyze the results of fatigue To find the eye before and after work on the intensity of lighting in the room below the standards of the Office of PT. Adaro BUMA jobsite. This study uses an analytic observational method using cross-sectional approach, the sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires to investigate the characteristics of respondents, respondents eye fatigue level and measure the intensity of illumination. Processing techniques and data analysis was done by paired T-test using computer program SPSS version 10.0. Results of analysis with paired T-test test, test eyestrain differences before exposure under standard illumination intensity with the data obtained of p is 0.002, where the value of p <0:01 then Ho is rejected and a very significant meaning, it means that there are differences in eye fatigue before and after exposure intensity under standard lighting. Where the price is negative (-) indicates the eye fatigue after exposed under standard illumination intensity is smaller than the eye fatigue after exposed under standard illumination intensity, so that the light intensity under standard increase eyestrain. The intensity of room lighting workplace office PT. Adaro BUMA jobsite allowable under the standard that is equal to 96.16 lux, which caused no significant difference between the eye fatigue of workers before and after work on the intensity of lighting in the room below the standards of the Office of PT. Adaro BUMA jobsite. PT. Adaro BUMA jobsite. Suggested better for the company melekukan cleaning lamps, because the outer layer of dirty lamps can reduce lighting intensity and make the turn off lights that are alive with lights and turn on lights when working.
