    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Robby Antonius Malau K4615076. “THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STAD (STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION) LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE THE RESULTS OF BASKETBALL CHEST PASS LEARNING IN THE STUDENTS OF CLASS X IPS 2 KEBAKKRAMAT STATE HIGH SCHOOL YEAR 2018/2019”. Thesis.Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Sebelas Maret. April 2019. This research aims to improve the results of basketball chest pass learning through the implementing STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) in the students of class X IPS 2 Kebakkramat State High School. This is a Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles, with two meetings for each cycle. The subject of this research was the 36 students of class X IPS 2 Kebakkramat State High School, which consists of 8 male and 28 female students. The data sources of this research are students, teachers, and researcher. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, documentation or archives in form of photos. The data were validated using data triangulation technique. The data were analyzed using descriptive comparative data analysis technique and presentation technique. The procedure of this research was a linked learning cycle. Based on the results of data analysis, the following improvement results are obtained: in the Pre-cycle learning results of Basketball Chest Pass, the Cognitive Aspect of 9 students (25%) are completed, and the Psychomotor Aspect of 7 students (19.44%) are completed. In the cycle-I learning results of Basketball Chest Pass, the Cognitive Aspect of 26 students (72.22%) are completed and 10 students (27.78%) are not completed, the Psychomotor Aspect of 24 students (66.67%) are completed and 12 students (33.33%) are not completed, the Affective Aspect of 33 students (91.67%) are categorized as Good (B) while 3 students (8.33%) are categorized as Sufficient (C). In the cycle-II learning results of Basketball Chest Pass, the Cognitive Aspect of 31 students (86.11%) are completed while 5 students (13.89%) are not completed, the Psychomotor Aspect of 31 students (86.11%) are completed and 5 students (13.89%) are not completed, the Affective Aspect of 33 students (91.67%) are categorized as Very Good (A), while 3 students (8.33%) are categorized as Good (B). The improvement occurs in Cycle I and II. The learning results of Basketball Chest Pass have achieved and even exceeded the target in cycle II. The conclusion is that the implementation of STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) Learning Model can improve the learning results of basketball chest pass in the students of class X IPS 2 Kebakkramat State High School Year 2018/2019.
