    Abstract

    The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the correlation between the learning achievement in micro teaching and the prepareness to become teachers of 2015 class of Mechanical Engineering Education; (2) the correlation between soft skill and the prepareness to become teachers of 2015 class of Mechanical Engineering Education; (3) the correlation of the learning achievements in micro teaching and soft skill simultaneously to the prepareness to become teachers of 2015 class of Mechanical Engineering Education. The data of research were collected through documentation for the variables of learning achievements in micro teaching and questionnaire for variable of soft skill and the variable of prepareness to become teachers. The data of research were analyzed by using the partial correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of research show that (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between the learning achievement in micro teaching and the prepareness to become teachers of 2015 class of Mechanical Engineering Education with effective contribution 27,7%; (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between soft skill and the prepareness to become teachers of 2015 class of Mechanical Engineering Education with effective contribution 19,4%; and (3) there is a positive and significant correlation of the learning achievements in micro teaching and soft skill simultaneously to the prepareness to become teachers of 2015 class of Mechanical Engineering Education with effective contribution 47,2%.
