    Abstract

    ABSTRACT The aims of this research are: 1) analyzing characteristic of scientific based physic module to increase student‟s motivation; 2) analyzing feasibility of scientific basedphysic module to increase student‟s motivation; 3) analyzing effectiveness scientific basedphysic module on learning outcomes and student‟s motivation on impuls and momentum subject. This Saintifik basedphysic module development is a Research and Development (R&D) using 4-D Model by Thiagarajan consist of 4 steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Module was validated by 3 expert lecturers (subject, language, and media), 2 peer reviewer and 2 reviewer. scientific based module was tested limited on VIII class students. After being revised, scientific based module was tested on a bigger scale which consist of 45 VIII H students. Data obtained from this research was analyzed with descriptivequalitative analysistechnique and descriptiv quantitative analysis. Based on the result of research and development can be conclude that: 1) characteristic of Saintifik based physic module is printed module to increase student‟s motivation; 2) scientific based physic module is feasible to use based on validation result and analyzed by cut of score with the ideals percentage of 85%, legibility module questionnaire result by student isfeasible to use (75,4 %), and teacher‟s response in disseminate step is feasible to use(79,2 %); 3) scientific based physic module effectively used in learning with 80 % of the value of student learning outcomes reached KKM and can improve student‟smotivation based on N-gain score result up to 0,55 with average increase category, Keywords: Module, Scientifik, motivation, Newton Law
