    Abstract

    The Characterization of morphological characters important in order to make the germplasm accession Sugar-apple (Annona squamosa L.) more efficient. This research aims to study and characterize the diversity and kinship in order to obtain characteristics of plant groupings Sugar-apple in the area Sukolilo, Pati, Central Java. This research was conducted from June 2009 to November 2009 at the Regional District of Sukolilo, Pati, Central Java. The study was conducted to identify morphological traits canopy, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruit crops Sugar-apple from District Sukolilo, Pati, Central Java. The data obtained are presented descriptively. Grouping plants is done by cluster analysis using average link method (average linkage). Results of analysis are presented in the form dendogram. Sugar-apple morphological characterization indicates the origin Sukolilo canopy shape, stem shape, leaf shape is uniform, but the fruit has the shape, thickness of flesh fruit, sheet, and sugar content is very diverse. Based on the similarity of morphological properties at the level of similarity of 27.91%, 36 Sugar-apple origin Sukolilo Central Java can be grouped into three groups of accessions. The first group consists of plant accession Porang Paring 1, Porang Paring 6, Porang Paring 10, Kwawur 1, Kwawur 2, Kwawur 4, Kwawur 9, Kwawur 12, Kwawur 13, Kwawur 20. The second group consists of plant accession Porang Paring 2, compound 5, Porang Paring 9, Kwawur 3, Kwawur 14, Kwawur 11, Kwawur 15, compound 3, Kwawur 17, compound 2, Porang Paring 3, Kwawur 19, Porang Paring 4, Porang Paring 5, Kwawur 18, Porang Paring 7, Porang Paring 8, Kwawur 16, Kwawur 5, Kwawur 7, Kwawur 10, Kwawur 6, and Kwawur 14. The third group consists of plant accession Kwawur 8, compound 1 and compound 6.
