    Abstract

    This study was aim to: 1) produce the mathematics module based REACT in linear program materials to improve student’s mathematical connection ability with valid; 2) produce the mathematics module based REACT in linear program materials to improve student’s mathematical connection ability with practical to be used in learning process; 3) produce the mathematics module based REACT in linear program materials to improve student’s mathematical connection ability with effective to be used in learning process; 4) know the student’s mathematical connection ability in linear program materials who learned with mathematics module based REACT is better than use math texbook. Research on the development of the mathematics module based REACT consisting of three stages, included: 1) preliminary studies: needs analysis and literature study; 2) development: theoretical product preparation, prototype preparation, expert validation, instrument test trial and product trial; 4) product testing. The criteria for determining product quality in this study are valid criteria seen from the validator’s assessment, effective criteria seen through t-test, practical criteria seen from the responses of students and teacher, and efficacy criteria seen through the results of t-test. Based on the results of the study was concluded: 1) the results of the development of mathematics module based REACT in linear program materials to improve student’s mathematical connection ability meet valid criteria; 2) the results of the development of mathematics module based REACT in linear program materials to improve student’s mathematical connection ability was practically used in learning process, with received positive responses of students is 85% and positive responses of teachers is 84, 38%; 3) the results of the development of mathematics module based REACT in linear program materials to improve student’s mathematical connection ability was effective used in learning process; 4) student’s mathematical connection ability in linear program materials who learned with mathematics module based REACT is better than use math textbooks.
