    Banana cv. Kepok is a local banana cultivar which is developed as a raw material for the food processing industry. The effort to increase kepok can be done through in vitro culture using NAA and yeast extract. This research aims to obtain the appropriate NAA and yeast extract concentrations and their effects on the growth of banana cv. kepok explants. It was conducted in June 2018-Januari 2019 at the Laboratory of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sebelas Maret. The research used factorial of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) by the first factor which is the addition of NAA (0; 0.5; 1 and 1.5 ppm) and the second factor is the addition of yeast (0; 400; 800 and 1200 mgL-1), so it can be seen that there are 16 combinations of treatment and each of them is repeated as many as three times. The result shows that the best combination of NAA and yeast in increasing number of shoots is NAA 0.5 ppm and yeast 1200 mgL-1, for increasing number of leaves is combination of 0 ppm NAA and 1200 mgL-1 yeast, and for increasing number of roots is combination of 1 ppm NAA and 400 mgL-1 yeast. The optimal number of roots banana cv. kepok at 1 ppm NAA. The highest number of shoots and number of leaves with concentration of 1200 mgL-1 yeast.
