    Abstract

    The synthesis of CoBi0.15Fe1,85O4 following cobalt ferrite was doped by bismuth using the coprecipitation method which was successfully carried out with variations in the temperature of the titration. In this study the titration temperature was used at 65 ° C, 75 ° C, 85 ° C, and 95 ° C. Then annealing was carried out at 800 ° C for 5 hours. The results of the synthesis were then characterized using X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The characterization results show that the crystalline structure is getting better and approaches to ICDD 221086 data with the increase in titration temperature. Whereas FTIR results indicate that Bi3+ ions substitute Fe3+ at the octahedral site. Finally saturation and coercivity magnetization increases with the increase of the titration temperature due to the increase in magnetic crystalline anisotropy.
