    Ayuk Nur Sholikhah. 2019. Development of Learning Media Based on Mind Map Painting with Camtasia Studio on 3D Shapes with Curved Faces Topic For IX Grade at Smp Islam Diponegoro. Thesis. Advisor: Dr. Budi Usodo, M.Pd. Co-Advisor: Dr. Ikrar Pramudya, M.Sc. Master of Mathematics Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) the process and results of development with based media mind map painting with camtasia studio that are valid, practical, and effective as an effort to increase student interest and learning achievement; 2) which learning achievement and student learning interest are better between using based learning media mind map painting or learning without media. This type of research is development research and experimental research. This learning media development model uses a model 4D from modified Thiagarajan. Themodel 4D consists of 4 stages, namely: 1) the definition phase; 2) design stage; 3) the development stage; 4) deployment stage. Modifications are carried out with Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The subjects and population of the study were students of Class IX Diponegoro Islamic Middle School. The research samples were class IXC and IXD. Data collection techniques are learning interest questionnaire, learning achievement test, and student response questionnaire. Development data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, analysis of media quality based on validator suggestions, practicality and effectiveness criteria scores, and experimental data analysis techniques using multivariate one-way anava. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) the process and results of development starting from the defining stage, design phase, development stage, distribution stage, and 2) learning achievement and interest in using learning with-based media mind map painting is better than learning without media. The process and results of development can be described as follows: a) the defining stage is carried out to find out the problems and needs of students through interviews with speakers; b) the design stage is done by instrument construction, media selection, format selection, and initial media design; c) stage development through media processes tested in validation, tested, evaluated, FGD, and revised; d) repaired media are then tested in experimental research at the deployment stage. Based on this, the results are valid, practical and effective. Valid media based on the assessment of the validator. The media is declared practical based on the acquisition of the average learning implementation 78.27%. Media is declared effective seen from the results of the average percentage of 70.83% of students giving a minimum response both at each meeting.
