    ABSTRACT Aditya Yudhatama Idham. 2019. E0013019. THE PROBLEMS WITH DISPUTE SETTLEMENT IN TRANSACTION THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA IN RELATION TO PRODUCTS INCONSISTENT WITH THE AGREEMENT (ORDER). Legal Writing. Law Faculity of Universitas Sebelas Maret. This study aims to examine the legal arrangements in Indonesia regarding buying and selling transactions through social media and consumer protection related to goods that are not ordered, dispute resolution of goods that do not match the agreement (order) in buying and selling transactions through social media This legal research is a descriptive normative legal research. The sources of legal material used are primary legal materials and secondary legal materials, with legal material analysis techniques using syllogism methods and interpretation using a deductive mindset. Legal arrangements in Indonesia regarding buying and selling transactions through social media have acquired consumer protection related to goods that are not according to order, these legal arrangements are: Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection Article 4 letters c and h, Article 7 letters b and g , Article 8 paragraph (1) letter f, Article 49 paragraph (1) Government Regulation Number 82 of 2012 concerning Implementation of Electronic Transactions and Systems, Article 1243, 1488, 1491, 1494 Civil Code, Article 17 paragraph (2) and Article 28 paragraph ( 1) Law Number 19 Year 2016 concerning Law Number 11 Year 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and Article 65 paragraph (1) of Law Number 7 Year 2014 concerning Trade. And approve the dispute over the goods that do not match the agreement (order) in the sale transaction through social media in accordance with applicable regulations in Indonesia, namely through 2 (two) approval lines, namely the path of litigation or dispute resolution through Article 38 paragraph (1) jo Article 39 paragraph (1) of Law Number 19 Year 2016 changes to Law Number 11 Year 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and non-litigation lines or permits for disputes outside of Article 39 paragraph (2) Law Number 19 Year 2016 Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, Article 6 paragraph (1) of the Law on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
