    Abstract

    The goal of this study is to find out : (1) Knowing the improvement in school gradesof class X TGB A students of SMK N 4 Sukoharjo on Drawing subjects with software by applying the demonstration method; (2) Knowing the process of applying the demonstration method to Drawing subjects with software X class TGB A SMK N 4 Sukoharjo. This research is a classroom action research carried out in class X TGB A, amounting to 36 students. Test data validity using triangulation and data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptions. The results of the study show that: (1) Application of the demonstration method by being able to improve the school gradesof class X TGB A students of SMK N 4 Sukoharjo in the subject of drawing with software. This is evidenced by the achievement of the percentage of student graduation that is targeted at the indicator of research achievement which is equal to 70% with KKM 75. Percentage of student graduation after the demonstration method is applied is 75%; (2) At the pre-cycle stage the percentage of student graduation is 44.5% with an average value of 68.58. After the demonstration method was applied combined with miniatures in the first cycle, the percentage of student graduation increased to 63.9% with an average score of 72.25. After reflection and evaluation in the first cycle, miniatures were developed by adding the Google Sketchup Viewer program to make it more accessible to students in cycle II.
