    Abstract

IMPROVED THE QUANTITY AND QUALITY OF QUESTIONS USING A MODEL GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING ASSISTED METHOD OF THE QUESTION FORMULATING TECHNIQUE STUDENTS CLASS XI OF SCIENCES 5 SMA NEGERI 7 SURAKARTA. Skripsi, Surakarta : Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. November 2018. This research aims to know the improved quantity and quality of the questions the students with the use of model learning guided discovery learning asissted method of formulating the question technique (QFT). Class action research (PTK) is implemented in 2 cycles. The subject of research is students in class XI SCIENCES 5 SMA N 7 Surakarta 2017/2018 lesson that year consisted of 17 students are male and 17 female students. The technique of collecting data through observation sheet the quantity and quality of the questions, the observation sheet aspects of affective, psychomotor, test evaluation to measure cognitive and interview. Data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative techniques include the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. Target research namely the quantity question learners increased 20% and the quality of the questions reach the level C6 at the end of the research cycle. Results of the study showed an increase in quantity and quality of the questions from pre-cycle, Cycle, Cycle II. The quantity of inquiries increased from pre-cycle, a cycle I and Cycle II are 15.6%, 370.5%, and 408.8%. The quality of the question on pre-Cycle are FC2; KC1; KC2 KC3 KC4, rising at Cycle I are FC1, FC2, FC3, FC4, FC5; KC1 KC2 KC3, KC4; PC1, PC2, PC3; MC3, and Cycle II i.e. FC1, FC2, FC3, FC4; KC1 KC2 KC3, KC4; Pc1, PC2. Pc3, PC4, PC6; MC3. In terms of improved learning results from pre-action, Cycle I and cycle II, namely Cognitive 60%, 69%, 86%; Affective 62.5%, 77.43%, 86.17%; Psychomotor 60.3%, 70.36%, 84.11%. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that an increase in the quantity and quality of the questions the students of Class XI of Sciences 5 SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta by using a model of guided discovery learning assisted method of formulating the question technique
