    Abstract

    BSTRACT ZAINAB IZZAH MUSLIMAH. The APPLICATION of ACTIVE LEARNING MODEL TYPE QUIZ TEAM in an EFFORT to IMPROVE STUDENT ACTIVITIES and LEARNING OUTCOMES on SUBJECTS basics of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION and ENGINEERING SURVEYING in CLASS X DPIBA SMK NEGERI 5 SURAKARTA. Theses Faculty of teacher training and educational sciences of the Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. July 2018. The learning process will be impressed more meaningful when learners engage actively and enthusiastically towards the learning that takes place. So, the role of the teacher in the classroom is very influential for the success of a learning process. This research aim to know the application of active learning model type quiz team in an effort to improve student activities and the learning outcomes of the learners. This research was classroom action research in class X DPIBA SMK N 5 Surakarta. The collaborative nature of this participatory research is cooperation between researchers with colleagues or friends in the field, where the researchers directly involved in planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The validity test of data using triangular and analysis techniques used in this classroom action research was descriptive qualitative with analysis interactive. The results showed that at the time of the pre action percentage of activity that was 41,67%, cycle I 75,00%, and in cycle II percentage of activity of the learners was 83,33%, while the results of the study, students experience an increase of the pre action was 12,12%, cycle I 55,56%, and in cycle II percentage of student who has pass the minimal grade was 79,27%. This means that the application of the Active Learning model type Quiz Team can improve student activities and the learning outcomes of the learners.
