    Abstract

    Fahmi Ardiansyah, 2018. Introduction of this final project entitled "Designing Traditional Culinary Catalog of Surakarta City Formerly For Domestic Tourists". The problems studied are (1) How to design a traditional culinary catalog Surakarta ancient as part of the tourism documentation project in Surakarta? (2) How to design a promotional media to distribute culinary catalogs that are communicative and easily obtainable in an effective and interesting manner. The purpose of this design is to design a catalog book of culinary for domestic tourists as supporting the promotion of tourism with the main object that is all the traditional culinary Surakarta city and the subject of research community Surakarta and not Surakarta society, this research using descriptive qualitative method. The main media of this design is a traditional culinary catalog that contains information about culinary Surakarta typical of antiquity, history and location. The media should not only be informative, but also must have an artistic value to attract the target audience. Plus supporting media to inform how to get the catalog book. It is expected that through the media catalog is able to attract the target audience to enjoy preserve and can create their own traditional culinary Surakarta City.
