    Abstract

    The purposes of this research was to know the efficacy contribution of self confidence of 7th grade students of MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. This research was correlation research. The data collected by using questionnaire with efficacy scale to count the efficacy of students and self confidence scale was used to know the self confidence of students. This research used quantitative approach and simple random sampling technique. Analysis technique used was simple linear regression. The result of this research showed t value was 13.861 bigger than t table 1.65, or Sig value was 0.000 < 0.05 probability number, so the hypothesis was accepted. Based on simple linier regression accounting, efficacy variable (X) toward self confidence variable (Y) is 51.8%. It meant that there was significant connection between efficacy and self confidence of 7th grade students of MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. From this research, it could be concluded that there was efficacy contribution toward self confidence of 7th grade students of MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo, and this research was expected to be reference implementation of Guidance and Counseling service to help students in efficacy and self confidence.
