    Abstract

    This study aims to find out which one gives better learning achievement between: 1) learning model of Problems Based Learning (PBL), Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), and Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) on matrix material, 2) students who have a high, medium, and low social interaction in the matrix material, 3) students with high, medium, and low social interaction who are subject to PBL, TAI, and STAD learning models on matrix material, 4) learning models of PBL, TAI, and STAD on students who have high, medium, and low category of social interaction on matrix material. This research is classified as quasi experimental research with 3x3 factorial design. The population in this study were all eleven grade students of SMA/MA in Wonogiri district. The sample of the research was obtained by using Stratified Cluster Random Sampling which were 262 students consisting of 90 students in PBL class, 90 students in TAI class, and 82 students in STAD class. The data analysis technique used is a two-way variance analysis with unequal cell, which then continued with double comparison test using Scheffe method. Based on the result of the research, can be concluded that: 1) students’ learning achievement that gets treatment of PBL learning model is better than those that gets TAI and STAD, while the students’ learning achievement that gets treatment of TAI learning model is better than those that gets STAD, 2) students’ learning achievement having high social interaction is better than those having medium and low social interaction, while students’ learning achievement having medium social interaction is better than those having low social interaction, 3) On the PBL learning model, the category of students with high social interaction has better learning achievement than students with medium and low social interaction category, while for the medium and low social interaction category has the same result in learning achievement, on the TAI learning model, the category of students with high social interaction has better learning achievement than students with medium and low social interaction category, while for the category of students with medium social interaction has better learning achievement than students with low social interaction category , on the STAD learning model, the category of students with high social interaction has the same learning achievement with the students of medium social interaction category, the category of students with medium social interaction has the same learning achievement with the low social interaction category, but the category of students with high social interaction have a better learning achievement than students with low social interaction category, 4) in the high students’ social interaction category , PBL learning model provides the same learning achievement with TAI, PBL learning model provides better learning achievement than STAD, and the TAI learning model provides better learning achievement than the STAD, in the medium students’ social interaction category, the PBL learning model provides the same learning achievement with the TAI, the PBL learning model provides better learning achievement than STAD, and the TAI learning model provides better learning achievement than the STAD, in the low students’ social interaction category, the PBL learning model provides better learning achievement than the TAI and STAD while the TAI learning model provides the same learning achievement as the STAD.
