    Abstract

Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Sunardi, M. Sc. Co-supervisor: Dr. Akhmad Arif Musadad, M. Pd. Master’s Degree Program in History Education, Sebelas Maret University. ABSTRACT This research aims to: 1) describe the planning of local historical learning based on Portuguese relics in Flores university; 2) describe the implementation of local historical learning based on Portuguese relics in Flores university; 3) describe the evaluation of local historical learning based on Portuguese relics in Flores university; 4) explain the obstacles that are faced and the solution in the local historical learning based on Portuguese relics in Flores university. This research is qualitative descriptive uses the strategi of singular case study. Data resources of this research are informant, files, documents and the location of activities. Data collecting technique uses observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique uses data reduction, showing data and making conclution. This research shows: 1) local historical lecturer of historical study program in Flores university prepare the learning plan maximally. However, the implementation does not run as expected. There are some obstacles that must be evaluated again by lecturer. It is done in order to make the learning activity is more effective and better; 2) the implementation of local historical learning with the utilizing of Portuguese colonial relic in Flores is good . Lecturer can create and maintain learning condition optimally. Discussion method and video performing, that are used by lecturer. It has obstacle because the lack of material refference to student collage and the video had not good arranged yet; 3) The evaluation of local historical learning that utilize Portuguese relic in Flores are the learning arrangement and evaluation. The satisfying result, the assesment must be evaluated again by lecturer; 4) the evaluation and solution are the refference of learning material that is difficult to be found. The video as learning media does not good becouse the lack of technician of video making and time management that does not profer. While the offering solution is study tour method. This solution is very profer to implemented that is related to this research. The making of learning media must be done by media expert.
