    Abstract

    The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of guidance group services by using social skills training approach to increase student’s leaderships attitude (experiments in 8th grade students of SMP 1 Matesih in the academic year of 2017/2018). This research used Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design to solve the problem experimentally. Samples were chosen by simple random sampling method from 8th grade especially class A and C at SMP 1 Matesih, so we have 64 students were chosen for this research. The pretest questionnaire was given to the subject before starting the treatment, it used to know about the subject leadership level so can compare with the result of the posttest questionnaire. SPSS 20.0 was used to analyze by using Independent Sample T-Test equation. The result have shown that the number of calculate this 0.927 with the significance value 0.361>0.05 so H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Thus,proving that the hypothesis of researchers put forward with the sound: "Guidance group services with approach social skills training effectively to increase student’s leaderships of 8 th grade of SMP 1 Matesih in the academic year of 2017/2018”can’t be received its truth.
