    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Revilia Cahyaningtyas. PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA TENTANG SUMBER DAYA ALAM MELALUI MODEL TEBAK KATA DENGAN MEDIA FLASHCARD PADA SISWA KELAS III SDN 1 PANJER TAHUN AJARAN 2017/2018. Skripsi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Juni 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan model Tebak Kata dengan media flashcard, (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA tentang sumber daya alam di kelas III SDN 1 Panjer tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan menerapkan model Tebak Kata dengan media flashcard, dan (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusinya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas III SDN 1 Panjer Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 36 siswa yang terdiri dari 20 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu siswa, guru, observer, dan dokumen. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) langkah-langkah pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (a) menjelaskan materi dengan media flashcard, (b) perwakilan siswa untuk maju di depan, (c) seorang siswa membacakan kata-kata yang tertulis pada flashcard, (d) siswa yang memegang kartu kecil harus menebak isi kartu sesuai dengan pertanyaan, (e) apabila jawabannya tepat, maka diperbolehkan duduk, bila belum, maka boleh menggunakan kata-kata lain, dan (f) menyimpulkan materi pembelajaran; (2) model Tebak Kata dengan media flashcard dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA tentang sumber daya alam yaitu pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar siswa = 40,28%, siklus II = 75%, dan siklus III = 86,11%; (3) kendala yang dihadapi adalah: (a) siswa ramai ketika pembagian kelompok, (b) guru kurang memaksimalkan siswa dalam mencoba, (c) siswa masih takut untuk bertanya, (d) siswa belum lancar membaca cenderung menjadi penebak, (e) siswa masih ragu untuk bertanya dan kurang antusias, (f) siswa yang duduk di belakang sering mengobrol, dan (g) siswa kelelahan mencatat, sedangkan solusi dari kendala tersebut yaitu: (a) guru memberikan teguran dan sanksi, (b) guru memakai kembali media flashcard dan membagi siswa dalam kelompok besar, tetapi berpasangan, (c) guru memberi motivasi agar siswa berani bertanya, (d) guru membimbing siswa dalam membagi tugas, (e) guru memberi motivasi agar siswa semangat dan antusias, (f) guru memperingatkan siswa, dan (g) Guru memberi motivasi dan memberi kesimpulan materi lebih ringkas. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah peneraan model Tebak Kata dengan media flashcard secara tepat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA tentang sumber daya alam pada siswa kelas III SDN 1 Panjer Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATURAL SCIENCE LEARNING OUTCOMES ABOUT NATURAL RESOURCES THROUGH THE GUESSING WORD MODEL WITH FLASHCARD MEDIA ON THE THIRD GRADE STUDENTS OF SDN 1 PANJER IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2017/2018. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. June 2018. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the implementation steps of the Guessing Word model with flashcard media, (2) to improve natural science learning outcomes about natural resources on the third-grade students of SDN 1 Panjer in the academic year of 2017/2018 through the application of Guessing Word model with flashcard media, and (3) to describe the constraints and solutions. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Subjects of the research were the third-grade students of SDN 1 Panjer in the academic year of 2017/2018 totaling 36 students (20 boys and 16 girls). Source of data were derived from students, teacher, and document. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Techniques of collecting data were test and non-test. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis consisting of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The results of this research show that:(1) the steps on the use of Guessing Word model with flashcard media, namely (a) explain material with flashcard, (b) student representatives come to the front of the class, (c) a student reads the word written on the flashcard, (d) students holding small cards should guess the contents of the card according to the question, (e) if the answer is correct, then it is allowed to sit down, if not, then it may use another word, and (f) summarize the learning materials; (2) Guessing Word model with flashcard media can improve of the natural science learning outcomes about natural resources. It was proven by the students completeness in cycle I 40.28%, cycle II 75%, and cycle III 86.11%; (3) Problems encountered are: (a) students are noisy when dividing group, (b) teachers did not instruct the students well in trying step, (c) students are still afraid to ask questions, (d) students have not been fluent in reading and tend to be the guesser, (e) students are hesitant to ask and less enthusiastic, (f) students sitting in the back are often chatting, and (g) students take note too much. Solution for these problems are: (a) the teacher gives reminder and sanctions, (b) the teacher reuse the flashcard media and divide students into a large group in pairs, (c) the teacher motivates students to ask questions, (d) the teacher guides students in dividing tasks, (e) the teacher motivates students to be excited and enthusiastic, (f) the teacher remind students, and (g) the tseacher motivates students and gives a concise conclusion. The conclusion of this research is the use of Guessing Word with flashcard media can improve the natural science learning outcomes about natural resources for the third-grade students of SDN 1 Panjer in the academic year of 2017/2018.
