The comic created by the writer through this research was a comic which then was entitled “Demi Tujuh Kata.” This content of this comic was a history on the creation of national principle of Indonesia that was Pancasila; started from the formation of BPUPKI to the PPKI meeting on August 18th, 2018. The comic’s targeted society was 14-to-27-years-old Indonesian citizen whose hobby was reading books, especially comic books. The writer deliberately resumed and took important points regarding tolerance clearly but briefly so that this comic could substitute those thick and hard-to-find history books. The comic “Demi Tujuh Kata” was launched with interesting visualization by combining the style of Japanese and American comics. In the research conducted by the writer, the people adored a simple character illustration with solid colorization, proportional shape, and firm line. By conducting this research, the writer expected that the comic created could approach the society well, so that the messages to build tolerance could also transferred well and could also bring positive change in the social life of Indonesian society.
