    Abstract

    Teri Sriwagesang. THE ANALYSIS OF RELIGIOUS AND SOCIAL VALUE OF JAVANESE LANGUAGE FOLKTALE TIMUN EMAS AND BUTO IJO AND MYSTERY KEYONG EMAS AND IT RELEVANCE AS MEDIA IN LITERARY OF ENHAUNCEMENT CHARACTER EDUCATION OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, March 2018. The objective of the research is to describe the religious behaviour and social that can be found in the folktale entitled Timun Emas and Buto Ijo and Mistery Keyong Emas. As well as to describe the relevance of the folktale Timun Emas and Buto Ijo and Mistery Keyong Emas in teaching Javanese language as media of enhancement character education of Senior High School students. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive approach with data analysis strategy. The date were taken from the analysis result of religious value and social from the folktale Timun Emas and Buto Ijo and Mistery Keyong Emas, and were also taken from the result of the interview with the informant (teacher, eleventh grade students, and literature experts).The data validity used in this research in the triangulation of the data resources. The data analysis technique use ini thi study is flow model of analysis including three components, that are data reduction, data display, an conclution drawing. From the result of the research, the study found that the embodiment of religious value and social from the folktale Timun Emas and Buto Ijo and Mistery Keyong Emas, and the relevance as media of enhancements character education of Senior High School students. The existence of religious value from the folktale Timun Emas and Buto Ijo are by sending prayer, solat, care of each other, respect for each other, and mutual help. While the religious value of folktale Mistery Keyong Emas, are by sending prayer, solat, care of each other, respect for each other, and mutual help and give for givenness to other. While the embodiment of value of social in the folktale Timun Emas and Buto Ijo and Mistery Keyong Emas are, respect for each other, and mutual help for giveness to other. The folktale can be a good exemplary for the students because there also value of decency, culture, and religion. Key word: folktale, Timun Emas and Buto Ijo and Mistery Keyong Emas, religious value, social, character education.
