    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Amalia Emiliana Suryani. NIM K8413005. Peran Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Sosiologi dalam Implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di Kota Solo. Skripsi. Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Desember 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kendala yang dihadapi guru sosiologi dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013, (2) peran yang telah dilakukan MGMP Sosiologi untuk membantu guru sosiologi dalam mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di Kota Solo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan enam informan dengan kriteria, yaitu ketua MGMP Sosiologi, instruktur Kurikulum 2013, instruktur guru pebelajar, dan guru sosiologi anggota MGMP Sosiologi yang telah mengajar pada sekolah yang baru menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 di Kota Solo. Dalam melakukan pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan cara purposive sampling. Teknik uji validitas data yang digunakan berupa triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data memiliki tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kendala yang dihadapi guru sosiologi, yaitu kendala teknis dan kendala substantif. Kendala teknis, yaitu fasilitas pendukung proses Implementasi Kurikulum 2013 yang belum memadai. Kendala substantif, yaitu strategi dan perencanaan pembelajaran yang belum matang (2) Peran MGMP Sosiologi dalam mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi guru sosiologi dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013, yaitu peran kepelatihan, peran fasilitasi, dan sebagai forum diskusi bagi anggota MGMP Sosiologi. This study aims to determine (1) obstacles faced sociology teachers in the implementation of curriculum 2013. (2) the role that has been done by MGMP Sociology to assist the sociology teacher in overcoming obstacles faced in the implementation process of Curriculum 2013 in Solo. This research using qualitative research method with phenomenology approach. Techniques of data collection is using interviews, observations, and documentations. Criteria of informants are chairman of MGMP Sociology, instructor of Curriculum 2013, instrucktor of pebelajar teacher, and sociology teacher member of MGMP Sociology who have taught at new school applying Curriculum 2013 in Solo. Sampling technique is using purposive sampling. Techniques of data validity is using methode triangulation and source triangulation. Stage analysis of this research is the data reduction, presentation of data, and conclutions. The result of this research showed that (1) obstacles faced by sociology teacher, that is the technical constraints and substantive constraints. Technical obstacles, namely facilities support process of implementation Curriculum 2013 that have not been adequate.substantive constraint, that is strategy and planning of less immature learning. (2) the role of MGMP Sociology in overcoming obstacles faced by sociology teachers in the implementation of Curriculum 2013, the role of coaching, facilitation role, and as a discussion forum for members of MGMP Sociology.
