Under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Kusnandar, MSI and Dra. Suminah, MSi. Development efforts undertaken in third world countries including in Indonesia is still focused on the development of the agricultural sector. Entering the 21st century, the world community began to realize the danger posed by the use of synthetic chemicals in agriculture. Organic agriculture is a cultivation technique that relies on natural ingredients without the use of synthetic chemicals. Biopesticide is one innovation that supports the development of organic agriculture. Biopesticide can be differentiated into botanical pesticides and biological pesticides. Adoption of bipestice in Subdistrict Mojogedang Regency Karanganyar is also a process until finally the farmer decided to apply or not apply the innovation that needs to examine the factors that influence the adoption of biopesticide. This research aims to study the factors that influence the adoption, adoption decision biopesticide, and the factors that influence the adoption of biopesticide by farmers in Subdistrict Mojogedang Regency Karanganyar. The basic method of this research is descriptive. This research determined intentionally (purpossive). Taking the village conducted with Stratified Random Sampling with sample size of 60 respondents. To identify the factors affecting the adoption of biopesticide by farmers in Subdistrict Mojogedang Regency Karanganyar used logistic regression analysis. The results showed that most farmers formal education was for 6 years, lowland farmers in general are narrow, ie less than 0,5 hectares, the average farmer's income is Rp 28.618.690, -/year. Perceptions about the relative advantage in that category very good (58,3%), compatibility in the category of very good (56,7%), complexity in the low category (48,3%), trialability in the category of very good (46,7%), observability in both categories (76,7%). Number of sources of information used as many as 4 sources (35% of respondents), access frequency distribution channels of communication in the high category (31,7% of respondents). A total of 40 respondents (66,67%) applying the biopesticide and 20 respondents (33,33%) did not apply the biopesticide Based on the results of logistic regression analysis with 95% confidence level was not found between the effect of formal education, land area, income, number of information sources used and the frequency of access to communication channels with the adoption of biopesticide. However, the nature of innovation in the form of relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability affect the adoption of biopesticide.
