    Abstract

    Fauziya Dzakirani, G.0014098, 2017. Correlation between Motivation and Satisfaction of Donor with Blood Donor Routinity in UTD PMI Surakarta. Mini Thesis. Faculty of Medicine. Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. Background: In Indonesia, there is still lack of the supply of blood bag nationwide. This is due to low public awareness of blood donors, especially voluntary donors. To ensure that blood supply is available safely, it is necessary to have volunteer donors who are willing to become regular blood donors. One factor which gives effect for individual desire to donate is influenced by motivation and the satisfaction of the donor process. This research aims to examine the correlation between motivation and satisfaction of donor with blood donor routine in UTD PMI Surakarta. Methods: This research used observational analitic method with cross sectional approach. Respondens were pick based on accidental sampling technic, and there were 60 respondens here who were volunteer blood donor who gave blood in PMI Surakarta. The data was taken with motivation and satisfaction quetionnaire which have been tested its validity and reliability. The data was analized with bivariat test, which was Chi Square Test analysis, and multivariat test with multiple regression analysis (α=0.05) using application SPSS 23.0. Results: Based on multiple logistic regression test result, motivation (p=0.831; OR=1.185) and satisfaction (p=0.438; OR=2,014) gave effect to blood donor routinity but not statistically significant (p >0.05). Factor that statistically significant gave effect was time used to be a donor (p=0.000; OR=0.064). The others controlled cofounding factors were age (p = 146) and sex (p = 727), did not have significant corellation with blood donor routinity statistically (p >0.05). Conclusion: There is correlation but not statistically significant between motivation and satisfaction of blood donor with blood donor routinity in UTD PMI Surakarta.
