    Abstract

    Latar Belakang: Tidak semua anak dilahirkan dalam keadaan sempurna, salah satu keadaan yang harus dihadapi oleh orangtua adalah anak dengan disabilitas. Orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan disabilitas cenderung memiliki beban fisik maupun mental yang lebih berat, khususnya seorang ibu. Apabila ibu tidak dapat mengatur emosinya, bukan tidak mungkin ibu akan mengalami depresi yang akibatnya akan berimbas pada pengasuhan anak yang kurang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan derajat depresi antara ibu siswa SLB disabilitas tunggal dan disabilitas ganda di YPAC Surakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilaksnaakan pada bulan Juni 2017 di SLB D/DI YPAC Surakarta. Pengambilan sampel dilaksanakan secara purposive sampling, denga menggunakan 78 sampel yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok, 39 ibu siswa disabilitas tunggal dan 39 ibu siswa disabilitas ganda. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pengisian kuesioner Lie Minnesota Mmultyphasic Personality Iinventory (L-MMPI) dan Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) II. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Mann Whitney melalui program SPSS 20.0 for Windows. Hasil: Dari 39 ibu siswa disabilitas tunggal, yang tidak mengalami depresi/ depresi minimal sebanyak 32 orang (82,1%), yang mengalami depresi ringan sebanyak 4 orang (10,3%), yang mengalami depresi sedang sebanyak 3 orang (7,7%), dan tidak ada yang megalami depresi berat. Sedangkan untuk 39 ibu siswa disabilitas ganda didapatkan yang tidak mengalami depresi sebanyak 30 orang (76,9%), mengalami depresi ringan sebanyak 5 orang (12,8 %), mengalami depresi sedang sebanyak 3 orang (7,7%), dan mengalami depresi berat sebanyak 1 orang (2,6%). Dari hasil uji ststistik Mann Whitney didapatkan p=0, 561. Simpulan: Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan derajat depresi ibu siswa disabilitas tunggal dan ibu siswa disabilitas ganda di SLB D/D1 YPAC Surakarta. Whereas for 39 mothers of students with multiple disabilities found that 30 people (76,9%) with no depression, 5 people (12.8%) with mild depression, 3 people (7.7%) with moderate depression, and 1 person (2.6%) with severe depression. The Mann Whitney test showed p = 0, 561. Conclusion: There is no difference of depression between mother of student with single and mutiple disability in YPAC Surakarta.
