    Abstract

    MUHAMMAD RIZAL FUADY. D1215032. MARKETING MIX COMMUNICATION STRATEGY of Craftsmen Group For Increase Sales (Study About Marketing Mix Communication Strategy of Solo Sangkar Craft Group For Increase Birdhouse Sales At Mojosongo 2017) Thesis, Communication Science Department, Social and Political Faculty, Sebelas Maret Surakarta University, 2017. Small industry has a considerable role as the motor of the national economy. The government is also required to take part in the development of small industries in their area. Not for just improve the public welfare, but this industry also can help to create opportunitty in various field of economic, tourism and human resources. Indirectly, it will raise the local name which many small industries and creative industries, as well as creating a creative industry trademark for the area. One of creative craft industry potential which stand out in northern Solo is Mojosongo, which Mojosongo is the one of area that have potential of birdhouse craft creative industry are already well known. Birdhouse craft at Mojosongo has been able to supply birdhouse products to various part of Indonesia. That products are offered from Rp 25.000 to Rp 16.000.000. This research was conducted to find out how marketing mix communication strategy of Solo Sangkar Craft Group for increase birdhouse sales. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Research data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. In this study found that: 1) marketing strategy focus on product strategy and promotion strategy, 2) Product strategy becomes the most important factor for presenting birdhouse product, 3) Social media Facebook is used to advertisement, 4) Market target of Solo Sangkar Craft Group is high consumer.
