    Abstract

    This study aims to: 1) To describe and explain the planning of writing lessons prepared by Indonesian teachers in accordance with Curriculum 2013 Revision 2016 in SMK Negeri 1 Gondang Sragen Regency; 2) To describe and explain the implementation of writing lessons conducted by teachers of Indonesian language at SMK Negeri 1 Gondang Sragen Regency; and 3) To describe and explain the obstacles of writing learning and efforts made by Indonesian teachers to overcome these obstacles. This research is a qualitative research using research strategy of case study which was conducted for six months at SMK Negeri 1 Gondang Sragen Regency. The data of this research was oral and written. Sources of the data in this study were places and events, informants, and documents. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling technique, while data collection techniques which were used in this study were the observation, interview and document analysis. The test techniques of the data credibility in this research were triangulation method, source triangulation, and informant result. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques, data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The result of the research shows that: 1) writing lesson plan based on Curriculum 2013 Revision 2016 in SMK Negeri 1 Gondang was good enough, it could be seen from RPP prepared by teacher was complete in planning and arranging the material conducted discussion with more experienced teacher in MGMP forum; 2) the implementation of writing lessons based on Curriculum 2013 Revision 2016 in SMK Negeri 1 Gondang was in accordance with the plan made before and the rules contained in Curriculum 2013 Revision 2016; and 3) teacher’s obstacle in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 Revision 2016 in learning writing was a difficulty in choosing and determining the methods, strategies, and media, teachers are constrained by interest and motivation of the students because the methods and media used were less interesting, the next obstacle was still lacking the concept of assessment in the Curriculum 2013 Revision 2016. Solutions / efforts undertaken by the teacher was by discussing with teachers who were more experienced in the MGMP forum, provide motivation to students and try to make learning more interesting and fun, making assessment instruments by discussing in the MGMP forum with teachers first.
