ABSTRACT Andika Limas Putra. K6413004. THE TOLERANCE VALUES STRENGTHENING AS ONE OF THE WAYS TO MAINTAIN THE INTER-RELIGIOUS HARMONY AT MAJELIS ILMU DAN DZIKIR AR- RAUDHAH SURAKARTA. Thesis, Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. The objectives of the research were: 1) to know the member’s perception of Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar Raudhoh in tolerance values to maintain inter-religious harmony 2) to describe the implementation of tolerance values strengthening in Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar- Raudhah 3) to describe the impact of tolerance values strengthening in Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar- Raudhah 4) to know the obstacles and supporting factors in implementing of values strengthening at Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar- Raudhah. This research used qualitative approach method. The research is in the form of qualitative descriptive. Source of the data are informants, places, events and documents. Technique used to collect the sample is purposive sampling. Techniques used to collect the data are interview, observation and document analysis. Data triangulation and analysis triangulation used to test the data validity. Data analysis used in the research is interactive model analysis. Keywords : Tolerance Values Strengthening, Inter-religious harmony, Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar–Raudhah. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) the values perception about tolerance values strengthening in the membership of Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar – Raudah was good (2) the implementation of tolerance values strengthening at Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar – Raudah as one of the ways to maintain the inter-religious harmony done in the materials contents and methods at recitation activity on Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar-Raudhah (3) the impact of tolerance values strengthening at Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar – Raudah can be seen in the implementation of tolerance values which contains in recitation activity and becomes the guidelines, overview and basics for the members of Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar – Raudah in doing their daily life (4) the supporting factors of tolerance values strengthening at Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar – Raudah were: the tolerance values at Islam, the high levels of understanding from the members and the materials contents at recitation activity delivered to the members in the easy and understandable language. However, the obstacles factors in implementing the tolerance values strengthening at Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar – Raudah were: there is no special department of study to determine the tolerance values; the recitation done in the night has a low impact to the members, especially when they are tired.
